GFSU is the only University in World offering PG Courses in Forensic Sciences and it is equipped with Firing Range; Ballistic Range which are test areas to check and certify the performance parameters of safety appliances like bulletproof jackets or war devices like tanks. For the same, they wanted to design an ICT backbone that is

• Capable of handling large multimedia and real-time video traffic
• Robust
• Scalable
• Will supports routing of Wi-Fi traffic generated using BYOD
• Facilitate Automation of back offices processes like attendance; admin; HR and purchase

Activities Performed

• Preliminary need analysis discussion with the client
• Prepared the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the same
• Based on the Budgetary Approvals designed the technical specifications for the following solutions mentioned below
  • Data Networking – Active, passive, Wi-Fi and security components
  • Surveillance – Cameras, VMS, storage and servers
  • Audio Video Integration for Board Room and Training Rooms
  • Data Center Solutions

Solution USPs

• The project is designed using OS2 fiber and CAT7A for around 1200 + nodes
• There are 15 hubs rooms which are interconnected to the DC via 10G Uplinks
• CAT7A is a 1200 MHz Cable which facilitates 40G and 100G data transfer over UTP and it also facilitates triple play on a single UTP cable
• The Entire Campus is Wi-Fi
