Brief

Gujarat State Aviation Infrastructure Company Limited (GUJSAIL) is the nodal agency for development of aviation and related infrastructure in the state of Gujarat. The Civil Aviation Department, Government of Gujarat has set-up a new company GUJSAIL, with a view to carry out all Civil Aviation policy-related activities in Gujarat, which aims to garner public-private partnership by setting up of MRO’s, starting up of intra-state air connectivity, to acquire land to create land bank and enter into an agreement with partners giving them single window clearance, creating new airstrips and helipads, establishing new fuel trading companies in order to reduce its burden on the operational costs. For the same they were planning to build communication and IT Infra which will be:

• Capable of handling large multimedia and real-time video traffic
• Robust
• Will support routing of Wi-Fi traffic generated using BYOD
• Scalable
• Facilitate Automation of back offices processes like attendance; admin; HR and purchase

Activities Performed

• Preliminary need analysis discussion with the client
• Prepared the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the same
• Based on the Budgetary Approvals designed the technical specifications for the following solutions mentioned below
  • Data Networking – Active; passive components along with UTM box for data security
  • Communication – IP+POTS Telephony with UC; Collaboration and Video Conferencing
  • Wi-Fi – AP’s, Controllers and NMS
  • Surveillance – Camera’s, VMS, storage and servers
  • DC Build – Power, cooling, fire safety, surveillance, and access control
  • CCC – LFD displays and workstations
  • IT Infra – servers and storage
  • PAVA – servers and storage
  • Access Control – Controllers, readers, RFID cards and biometrics

Solution USPs

• The project was designed using intelligent cabling systems for around 400 + nodes using CAT6A
• And intelligent monitoring software to track cable faults and maintenance operations
• Top of Rack 10G Solutions was used for Server and Edge Stacks
• The Entire Campus is Wi-Fi
